What it is like to drive here

It drives much like a large hatchback rather than like a van — the controls are light and it is not intimidating to place on a narrow road. The middle row is the comfortable one; the third row is genuinely usable for children and for adults over shorter distances. On the coast road to Colachel and the run out to Kanyakumari it is an easy, unhurried vehicle.

Questions about the Rumion

Can seven adults actually sit in a Rumion?

Seven adults fit for a trip across the district. For a long day, the honest arrangement is five adults and two children, or six adults with the middle row slid back. The third row is a real seat, not a token one, but it is the smallest.

Rumion or Innova for a family trip?

Rumion if you are staying in the district and watching the fuel bill — it is petrol and lighter. Innova if you are going further, carrying luggage for everybody, or want the most comfortable third row. We will tell you which is free on your dates either way.

Is there luggage space with all seven seats in use?

Enough for a day out — bags, water, a couple of small cases. Not enough for seven people's suitcases. Fold the third row and the boot becomes large, which is how most people use it: six travelling, or seven with light bags.
